Scope

These terms apply to purchases from IGC Music Shop through this website.

The seller

An online retailer of musical instrument accessories – strings, picks, capos, tuners, stands, cables and maintenance tools – operating from Shop No. 4, Castle Mill, Meenatai Thackeray Chowk, Hardas Nagar, Thane, Maharashtra 400601, India. Online only; there is no customer-facing showroom, and we do not sell instruments themselves.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy, confirmed by email once payment is received or a cash-on-delivery order is accepted. Where stock proves unavailable we tell you and refund in full – see Cancellation Policy.

Prices, payment and tax

Prices are in Indian rupees; delivery charges appear before checkout is completed; payment is UPI or cash on delivery only.

This shop is not registered for GST, operating below the applicable GST registration threshold, so registration does not currently apply. No GST is charged separately and no GST tax invoice bearing a GSTIN can be issued. The invoice packed with the goods is an order invoice only.

Specifications and fit

String gauges, alloys, pick thicknesses and capo fit are published as supplied to us and are stated on each product page. Compatibility with a particular instrument depends on its scale length, neck profile and current setup, which we cannot assess remotely – the specifications are given so you can check them against your instrument.

Setup work

Changing string gauge alters neck relief and may require a truss rod adjustment. Nuts and saddles supplied in accessory kits are generic blanks and need filing to fit. We sell the parts; we do not provide setup, repair or fitting services, and we recommend a qualified technician for structural work.

Warranty

We add no warranty of our own. Any warranty stated on a product page applies on its own terms. Damaged, wrong or incomplete deliveries are covered by the Return and Refund Policy.

Liability

Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. Where the law permits, our liability for a product-related claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected product.

Governing law

Governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, courts in Thane, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction.
